Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yeddyurappa has demanded Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to disclose the details of investments attracted by Karnataka and job creation in the State in the past two years.
In a press conference in Hassan on Thursday, Mr. Yeddyurappa said that during his recent visit to China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed memorandums driving investments to India. “Prime Minister had invited Siddaramaiah to be part of his team in the China trip. But he did not go citing excuses. He should have gone with the PM”, Mr. Yedyurappa said.
After completing two years as Chief Minister, Mr. Siddaramaiah should disclose the amount of investments attracted during his tenure.
Commenting on the work undertaken by the Siddaramaiah government, Mr. Yeddyurappa pointed out that in 2014-2015, the CM has announced implementation of ‘Grama Vikas Yojana’ and ‘Grameena Sadak Yojana’ none of which have been implemented.
