A 12-year-old boy drowned in a tank in Kharadwadi in Belagavi city on Thursday. Kiran Ramannanavar, who left home to play with his friends, went swimming in the Kharadwadi tank and drowned. His friends told his parents who called the police and fire and emergency services personnel. The body was fished out by evening. A case has been registered in the Belagavi rural police station.
