The 12th edition of the Bangalore Literature Festival (BLF) will take place on December 2 and 3 at the Lalit Ashok Hotel on Kumara Krupa Road in Bengaluru.

This year’s speakers include Jnanpith award winner Chandrashekhara Kambara, author Chetan Bhagat, actor Huma Qureshi, historian Ramachandra Guha, American physician, and author Abraham Verghese.

This year, Children|Literature|Fun or C|L|F has in store plenty of activities for children of all ages. “At the 2023 edition of the festival, there will be two C|L|F venues on both days of the festival – Seonee, named after the hills where Mowgli was reared, and Malgudi, named after the town where Swami and friends grew up. Both the venues are at the Lalit Gardens of the hotel. We’ll also have other carnival fun activities for children through the day,” the BLF website stated.

Among other attractions are the BLF and bookstore Atta Galatta’s book prize, LitMart, India’s first and only pitch platform for aspiring authors, and ScreenLit, a forum where aspiring screen writers get a chance to pitch their scripts to a jury comprising producers, directors, writers, agents, film reviewers, and critics.
