Ban orderaround SSLC exam centres

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Khushboo Goel Chowdhary has imposed prohibitory order under Section 144 of CrPC in a radius of 200 metres from examination centres where the SSLC supplementary examination is scheduled from June 15 to 22.

In a release, she said that examination will be commenced between 8.30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 14 centres across the district. The examination will be conducted in seven centres in Yadgir followed by four centres in Shahapur and three in Surpur, respectively.

The District Magistrate also said that STD, photocopying, mobile and typing centres and bookstalls in a 200-metre radius from the examination centres have been asked to remain closed during the examination hours and those who violate the order would be punished according to law.
