The Mysuru Dasara mobile app, which will provide information on the events during the festival, will soon be available for Android phone users.
Kanth Raj, chief executive officer, Dot Angle, which has designed the official Dasara website, said the Mysuru Dasara app could be downloaded free from Google PlayStore. “The Dasara mobile app launched last year will be replaced with a new app, having a new design,” he said. The users downloading the new app can receive automatic alerts about the events.

Almost 3,300 Android phone users had installed Mysuru Dasara mobile app last year.
