Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Anantkumar Hegde has yet again courted controversy, this time mocking AICC president Rahul Gandhi’s religion.

Speaking at a BJP programme in Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district, Mr. Hegde mocked the inter-religious marriage of his parents and said he has “no clue about religion.”

Describing Mr. Gandhi as a “hybrid species”, he said that such a person can be “only in the Congress laboratory”.

Mr. Hegde went on to mock the mahaghatbandhan leaders and said their days were numbered. “It is a matter of matter of two or three months,” he said.
