Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday said that none of the electoral strategies of Amit Shah, president of Bharatiya Janata Party, will work in the Assembly polls in the State.

Replying to the queries from mediapersons at Uppoor in Udupi district, Mr. Siddaramaiah said that the Congress party will release its list of candidates for the State Assembly elections at the right time. The Congress party was not bothered about when the BJP decides on its candidates, he said.

The by-polls held at Nanjangud and Gundlupet a few months ago had given a clear signal as to which way the wind was blowing in the State, he said. After these elections the BJP had become convinced that it would be defeated in the State, Mr. Siddaramaiah added.
