Water shortage

Referring to drinking water shortage in villages in some taluks, including Aland, Mr. Sravan asked the officials to hasten the process of completing the multi-village drinking water supply scheme. It was said that 19 multi-village drinking water schemes were in different stages of completion. Once work is completed, it would help solve drinking water shortage in 80 villages permanently. Mr. Sravan said that all ongoing schemes should be completed before the end of December this year. He pulled up officials for not maintaining regularity in supplying drinking water through tankers in Nimbarga and Kadaganchi which villages are facing acute drinking water shortage.
