ACB raids on five government officials

Sleuths from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted simultaneous raids against five government officials on 17 premises across the State on Friday.

The officials raided were R. Sridhar, additional registrar (housing), office of registrar of co-operative societies, Bengaluru; Hamsaveni, deputy director, Agriculture Department, Davangere; D. Manjunath, reader, Government Teachers’ College, Mangaluru; Beesettappa, assistant director, Town Planning, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike; and K. Mani, junior engineer, Mysore Urban Development Authority. The raids are expected to be completed by Saturday.
