The Hindu’s Assistance and Guidance session for SSLC students at Chamarajanagar saw a good response. Resource persons gave students tips on how to scoring higher marks.
Organised in association with Vikas College, Mangaluru, the objective of the programme was to help Class X students to ‘Score Even More’ in the Board examinations through a better understanding and presentation of the subjects.
The event was held at the Seva Bharathi Shikshana Samsthe’s school auditorium on Court Road on Saturday. M. Ramachandra, CEO, Chamarajangar Zilla Panchayat, called upon students to be more focused on their studies as competition was stiff.
S. Ramesh of Seva Bharathi called upon students to inculcate the habit of reading newspapers as it would help them broaden their horizons.
A panel of resource persons comprising counsellors from CIGMA India, Bengaluru, interacted with students and threw light on various aspects of studying. More than 350 students from various schools took part in the programme.
