The Karnataka High Court on Thursday directed the State not to process the applications received for regularisation of unauthorised constructions and developments under the Akrama-Sakrama scheme.

A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice D.H. Waghela and Justice Ram Mohan Reddy passed the interim order after hearing PIL petitions questioning legality of the scheme.

The Court will hear the petitions on April 15 again and the process of receiving applications under the scheme will begin from March 23.
