4 Mysuru students bag 4 ranks in science olympiad

Students from Mysuru once again proved their mettle by bagging four State ranks at the 2014-15 Olympiad awards held by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).

State Rank 1 awardees include Class 6 student, Pranav Dharmalingam, from N.P.S International School in National Science Olympiad and Rahul S. of Class 8 from S.V.E.I Public School in National Cyber Olympiad.

Medha Sharath of Class 9 from Manasarovar Pushkarini Vidyasharama and Samarth Kashyap of Class 9 from N.P.S International School secured State Rank 3 in National Science Olympiad and International English Olympiad respectively, a release here said. The top 10 principals and top 40 teachers, whose students put up exceptional performance at the international level, were also felicitated with cash awards, mementos and citations. Mahabir Singh, founder and executive director, SOF, said over 31,500 schools from 1,400 cities across India and 19 countries participated in the Olympiad exams during 2014-15.
