The police have arrested 10 people on the charge of murdering ‘Slum’ Manja on December 27 last year.

The accused had fled the city after committing the crime and were arrested near Shravanabelagola on Tuesday, according to Ravi D. Channannavar, Superintendent of Police.

The arrested have been identified as K.M. Ravi Kumar (34) alias Child Ravi, Kartik (29), Mahesh (26), Yogesha (20), Ratif (20), Raja (20), Prakash (31), Ramakrishna (30), Ismail (28) and Ravi (36).

Mr. Channannavar said five more people were wanted in the case.

Child Ravi, the prime accused in the case, had differences with ‘Slum’ Manja, which led to the murder. Shiva, an associate of Manja, who was a witness to the incident, had filed a complaint with the police. The accused were presented before the judicial magistrate.
