An exit poll survey conducted by the Creative Centre for Social and Political Studies (COPS), a Bangalore-based political research institute, has predicted 10 Lok Sabha seats for the Congress, 14 for the Bharatiya Janata Party and four for the Janata Dal (Secular) in the State.

The exit poll was conducted in 50 booths in each of the Assembly segments (11,200 booths in all Assembly segments).

In a note issued here on Monday, COPS said the Congress would emerge victorious in Belgaum, Bagalkote, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Dakshina Kannada, Chitradurga, Chamarajanagar, Bangalore Rural and Bangalore Central.

The JD(S) would win in Hassan, Mandya, Chickballapur and Kolar. The BJP candidates would emerge winners in the rest of the constituencies.
