In a possible security breach, a foreign man was found flying a ‘drone’ outside Parliament House on Saturday evening. The incident led to strengthening of security near Parliament.

The middle-aged foreign national was seen by some locals flying a drone in the company of a young boy near Vijay Chowk around 6 p.m.

The eyewitnesses immediately informed police. However, before police could reach the spot, the man and the boy packed the flying object and drove away in a vehicle apparently belonging to a foreign embassy.

Jatin Narwal, DCP (New Delhi), said police have obtained CCTV footage and are investigating the case. The vehicle number has been identified and efforts are on to trace the suspect, he said.
