Taking a potshot at the founder of the Janasena Party, Pawan Kalyan, for not reacting on the controversial cash-for-vote issue, YSR Congress leader Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy on Thursday wondered why the actor was silent.

Addressing a dharna organised by his party at the Collectorate here, Mr. Reddy said, “Mr. Pawan Kalyan launched a political outfit to question the wrong deeds of the Government. But at this crucial point of time, he has been maintaining strategic silence only to shield Mr. Naidu.”

He accused Mr. Pawan Kalyan of “trying to act in politics too at the cost of the common man.”
