Vijayawada radiologist sets record in holding online classes

City-based radiologist Dr. Varaprasad Vemuri has claimed to have set a record in virtual teaching by conducting online classes every day for 365 days.

At a press conference by the Andhra Pradesh State Chapter of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association here on Thursday, Dr. Varaprasad, a senior consultant radiologist and chairman of the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging (ICRI), the academic wing of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, said India Book of Records and World Book of Records (London) had recognised his efforts on behalf of ICRI.

Dr. Varaprasad claimed to have conducted online classes for over 200 residents and consultants every day for 365 days spending over 1,000 hours between February 1, 2021, and January 31, 2022.
