Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy on Tuesday formally invited Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M.K. Stalin for the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Venkateswara to be organised at the spacious island grounds on the banks of the Cooum river on April 16 in Chennai.

The conduct of Srinivasa Kalyanam — the flagship programme of the TTD aimed at promoting the glory of Lord Venkateswara — was delayed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and is being resumed after a gap of two years.

Mr. Subba Reddy, accompanied by Additional Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy, and Local Advisory Committee (LAC) chief Sekhar Reddy inspected the arrangements made for the grand conduct of the festival.
