Traditional Andhra cuisine will be dished out to dignitaries. The ‘ready to serve’ pack for VVIPs will have a variety of traditional Andhra dishes such as Pulihora, Chakrapongali, Vada and Poornalu .
The lunch spread is elaborate as it includes Ulavacharu , Sambar , Rasam and Menthula Majjiga .
For land owners, who are also among the guests, a ready-to-serve packet consisting of Pulihora , Chakrapongali , Daddojonam , and Tappeswaram Kaza will be served.
KMK Caterers, who has bagged the contract for supplying the food packets, has quoted Rs. 60 for each packet to be given to the general public and Rs. 125 for VIPs.
Since it is estimated that more than 1.25 lakh people will turn up for the event, the cost of food could be Rs. 90 lakh for the general public.
The list of VIP/VVIP invitations has touched 6,000, while there could be 750 Most Important Persons.
Ministers P. Sunitha and P. Sujatha, who visited the venue, said a ‘paaka sala’ was being built near the venue.
