Three-day ‘Vizianagar Utsav’ from Oct. 24

Collector M.M. Nayak on Thursday said that the ‘Vizianagar Utsav’ would be hel;d for three days from October 24 to 26.

At a review meeting in with elected representatives, NGOs and officials here, Mr. Nayak said that utsav was being planned to highlight art, culture and traditions of the district and would be declared open at Ananda Gajapathi Auditorium. In addition to sprucing up the fort town for the utsav and also Sirimaanotsav on October 27, a food festival and exhibition of farm tools at Ayodhya Maidan, flower show at Music and Dance College, cattle show at Veterinary Hospital, book exhibition at TTD Kalyanamandapam, sports met at Sir Vijji Stadium, and dramas and Rangoli at Gurajada Kalabharati would be organised during the three days.

He asked to officials to give wide publicity for the utsav, which was being organised after a long gap.
