The Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP) has urged Telangana Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudanachary to expeditiously take action against party MLAs who switched loyalties to Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

A delegation of the TTDP leaders led by L. Ramana and E. Dayakar Rao called on the Speaker at his residence and submitted a memorandum in this regard. The delegation explained to the Speaker the manner in which TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao was poaching MLAs from other parties, by offering allurements.

Speaking to reporters later, Mr. Ramana and Mr. Dayakar Rao expressed concern over the delay in initating action against the MLAs who defected to the TRS in violation of the provisions of the Anti Defection Law.
