Tension prevailed for a while at the local MPDO (Mandal Parishad Development Office) office at Puttur on Friday, following heated arguments and minor clash between the ruling TDP and YSRC cadres at the general body meeting of the Mandal parishad.
Local YSRC MLA R.K. Roja was staging a dharna in front of the office, alleging neglect of public issues by the officials.
The TDP activists blocked the car of Ms Roja after the dharna.
The YSRC cadres entered the scene leading to jostling between two groups. However, the tension was eased with the both groups dispersing voluntarily.
