TDP will sweep the polls: Rayapati

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is all set to form the first-ever government in the new State of Seemandhra.

Talking to media persons here on Friday, the Narasaraopeta TDP contestant Rayapati Sambasiva Rao exuded confidence that his party was poised to win 22 MP and 130 MLA seats in the State.

While it is the TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in the State, it’s Narendra Modi at the Centre who would structure the governments beyond any doubt, he said.

Accusing the YSRC of resorting to violence on the polling day, he said the rank and file indulged in nasty acts only with the fear of defeat. Dwelling further, he said even his vehicle’s window panes were broken and he was prevented from entering the polling stations.
