The TDP has finalised its list of candidates for the July 3 elections to vacant posts under the Local Authorities Constituency quota in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council.
Along expected lines, the party has finalised the candidature of Gitam University president M.V.V.S. Murthy for the second seat in Visakhapatnam while D. Jagadish has been selected for the Vizianagaram seat.
TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu apparently remained firm on contesting from only one seat in the two seats which fell vacant in Guntur district. The candidate for the lone seat is Annam Satish Prabhakar.
In Krishna district, the party has preferred Buddha Venkanna to B. Arjunudu.
