TDP MLA hits out at TRS

June 08, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:46 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Telangana TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah on Sunday accused TRS leadership of hatching conspiracy to target his party legislators by using print and electronic media.

He alleged that the ruling party in Telangana was trying to demoralise TDP MLAs.

He said that conspiracy was being hatched to damage him politically for not switching over to TRS along with another leader of Khammam district.

He claimed that TRS tried to lure him with inducements during the past three months and said the people in Khammam were aware of his political life. Accusing TRS government of conspiring to finish TDP in Telangana, he said it was ‘Operation Akarsh’ earlier and it was ‘Operation Blackmail’ now.

He sought to know if Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was ready for a probe into the conversation TRS leaders and Mr. Rao had with TDP and Congress MLAs during the past one year.

In another statement, TDP leader S. Chandramohan Reddy said the TRS government was trying to implicate Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and TDP public representatives.
