YSR Congress Party Political Coordinator Majji Srinivasa Rao on Sunday asked the government to immediately do justice to the AgriGold depositors by allocating funds which could be raised with the auction of the properties of the company. He said that ₹1,100 crore would be sufficient to resolve the problems of 70% of the victims.

Addressing a media conference here, he alleged that the State government was claiming that the total properties were only ₹3,500 crore although their value was more than ₹7,800 crore. He alleged that the Vice-Chairman of the State Planning Board Kutumba Rao was making different statements over the properties of the AgriGold company.

Small investors

“YSR party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has suggested making payments for the small investors so that they would overcome their financial problems. But the government has not shown interest to accept the proposal,” Mr.Srinivasa Rao alleged.
