SACET to host APTSDI centre

St. Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology(SACET) will host a Centre of the Andhra Pradesh Technical Skill Development Institutions (APTSDI) to improve the employability of students.

The SACET is one of the two colleges in Prakasam district selected for improving the skills of engineering students by APTSDI in collaboration with the Siemens, according to St.Ann’s group of colleges secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and correspondent Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao.

SACET principal P. Ravi Kumar said the APTSDI centre here would provide training to the students of SACET and also to the selected persons from society in the ratio of 50:50.

The training would be given as per the requirements of the industry and make the trainees employable. Design lab, home electrical lab, commercial electrical lab, C.N.C. Lab, welding lab and also agro machinery lab would be set up at a cost of Rs. 2.5 crore within 10 weeks, he added.
