RPF constable dies, another injured in weapon misfire

One Railway Protection Force constable died while another was injured when a gun of a colleague misfired during weapons checking on Sunday morning.

K.C. Pradhan, constable with RPF, was testing his 9 mm pistol before going to duty at the RPF armoury when it accidently went off. 

Head constable Dharmana Musalaiah died on the spot and constable S.M. Rao was injured and moved to a corps hospital. RPF and civil police are investigating the case.
