The petitions seeking bail filed by Telugu Desam Party MLA A. Revanth Reddy and two others, accused in the cash-for-vote scam, are adjourned to Friday.
Justice Raja Elango of the Hyderabad High Court was expected to hear the arguments in bail petitions on Wednesday.
A request was made by Advocate General of Telangana to this effect and the cases were adjourned to Friday.
Meanwhile, Justice B. Sivashankar Rao heard in part the arguments advanced in a petition requesting him not to hear the case filed by Jerusalem Mattaiah, the fourth accused in the cash-for-vote case.
It may be recalled that Jerusalem Mattaiah filed a petition to quash the criminal case registered against him.
The judge had stayed the arrest till Wednesday.
Elvis Stephenson, the complainant in the case, filed a miscellaneous petition raising various grounds and requested the transfer of the case.
Justice Rao further said that this petition will be decided first and asked the counsel for Elvis Stephenson to make his submissions.
The arguments could not be completed by the end of court hours and the case was adjourned to Thursday.
The order staying the arrest of Mr. Mattaiah was extended by a day.
