Probe sought into exam malpractice

Several candidates and representatives of opposition parties sought a high-level inquiry into the alleged malpractices in the recently concluded teachers’ recruitment drive. According to sources, a candidate from SM Puram was caught while coping in the exam hall in Srikakulam. It forced the district administration to conduct a preliminary inquiry. The issue caught the attention of opposition parties as the candidate was said to be a close relative of the TDP district president Chowdary Babji. Lok Satta vice-president Panchadi Rambabu and AAP president Jayadev and others sought inquiry by a team headed by a senior judge. .
