V. Subba Reddy, Kadapa Regional Joint Director of School Education, Zone IV, visited Kurnool District Educational Officer’s office on Wednesday and began an inquiry into the alleged sexually harassment of women teachers by DEO D.V. Suprakash. Education Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao ordered a probe following a series of media reports airing the audio clips of the DEO’s intimate conversation with the woman teachers. Mr. Subba Reddy said that he would submit the report to the government with recommendation of suitable action against the erring official.
