Sristi Lakshminarasimham from Prakasam district has been selected for the President’s certificate of honour for the year 2017, coinciding with the Independence Day, for his outstanding contribution to enrichment of Sanskrit.

Mr.Lakshminarasimham, a native of Annasamudram village near Tripurantakam, has come out with several books on his pet ‘Vyakaranam’ branch including Panineya Vyakaranodaharana Kosa(five volumes) and Sabdobodha Mimamsa (four volumes) in collaboration with Prof Tatacharya, a release here said.

He is on the Board of Sanskrit study in three universities and guided 10 research scholars to get a doctorate.
