TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan on Tuesday named Janata Dal (U) vice-president Prashant Kishor as responsible for the removal of votes of the party sympathisers.

Mr. Vamsi told the media that Mr. Kishor hatched a conspiracy by taking advantage of technology. The names of the TDP functionaries and sympathisers including sarpanches, MPTCs and ZPTCs were missing in a large number. It was speculated about 5,000 to 10,000 names had been deleted in every Assembly constituency. The TDP would win the elections and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu would be back at the helm of affairs again, he said.

He declined comment on the data theft case registered by the Telangana police against IT Grids (India) Pvt. Ltd.
