Online bookings: TTD to seek public opinion

May 30, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 08:29 am IST - TIRUMALA:

The TTD management has resolved to elicit public opinion regarding online booking of accommodation and darshan tickets to identify and plug the set backs if any in the system and further enhance transparency in the bookings.

Over 18,000 tickets of Rs.300 special entry darshan are being made available on the TTD website for the benefit of the devotees of Lord Venkateswara spread all across the globe. If the management could obtain their suggestions and opinions in the form of e-mails it will besides serving as a feed back also prove a guiding tool for future. The idea was conceived by TTD Executive Officer D. Sambasiva Rao while reviewing various online facilities being extended to devotees with the officials of Information Technology (IT) and reception departments.

He also directed the reception officials to ensure fast remittances of the caution deposits.
