NPCIL to hold social impact survey in Kovvada area

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) will conduct social impact survey in Kovvada and surrounding villages of Ranastalam mandal in the district.

The organisation promised to provide best financial package for the land owners in accordance with the the new Land Acquisition Act.

It needed around 2000 acres of land for the construction 10,000 MW project in a phased manner.

NPCIL senior officials held talks with Collector P. Lakshmi Narasimham and Joint Collector Vivek Yadav over the land acquisition here on Tuesday.
