Along with the creation of new districts, the formation of new revenue divisions led to cheer at several places in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.

People of Bobbili and Cheepurupalli, who had been urging the government for declaring their towns as revenue divisions, were jubilant after their long-pending demand was finally realised on Monday.. Along with Bobbili MLA Sambangi Venkata China Appala Naidu, Minister for Municipal Administration Botcha Satyanarayana inaugurated the new RDO’s office in Bobbili of Vizianagaram and Cheepurupalli which is represented by him.

Former Cheepurupalli MLA Gadde Babu hailed the establishment of a revenue division in the town saying that he had been urging successive governments for the last 26 years in vain. Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Sidiri Appala Raju inaugurated the new RDO’s office in Palasa where a new revenue division was established on Monday. YSRCP leaders and activists hailed the government’s move and distributed sweets among locals on the occasion.
