The Dhone Judicial First Class Magistrate court on Friday directed the police to register a case against Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy’s son Shyam Babu, who is at present TDP’s Pathikonda constituency convener; Aspari ZPTC member Kappatralla Bojjamma and former Veldurthi sub-inspector Naga Thulasi Prasad, and issued non-bailable warrants against them in connection with the case of murder of YSRCP Pathikonda constituency in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy on May 22 last year.

The court gave the order on a private complaint filed by the leader’s widow Kangati Sridevi alleging that Mr. Shyam Babu and his followers were responsible for her husband’s murder but got their names excluded from the chargesheet by exerting pressure on the police, and sought their inclusion in the list of accused.

Ms. Sridevi told the media that she filed a private complaint in the Dhone court.
