CPI State secretary K. Ramakrishna on Monday said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had turned the State into a haven for corruption, land grabbing and looting of public money.

At a press meet here, he said though the Chief Minister was harping on the BC card, the BCs should realise that it was their genuine right to enjoy various benefits from the government.

Mr. Ramakrishna said the Left Parties would contest the elections in alliance with the Jana Sena Party and the list of the candidates would be released after February 15.

He said the time had come to say goodbye to the BJP-led NDA government and the TDP government. He termed the proposed Federal Front as ‘B Team’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Ramakrishna demanded that the MLAs and the Ministers in the State should reveal their assets before and after 2014. “The Chief Minister has no control over the rowdyism of the MLAs. For instance, MLA Chintamaneni resorts to intimidation every day but Mr. Naidu remains silent.”

He said YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, facing criminal cases and was in jail for 16 months, had no moral right to become the Chief Minister. He said Mr. Jagan was facing allegations of corruption even before coming to power.
