A woman, Eeswaramma (24), of Vaddindlu village of Gangavaram mandal, threw herself and her two daughters, Sireesha (7) and Hemasri (18 months), into a well. The three bodies were found in the well on Wednesday morning. They were sent to the area hospital for autopsy.
The Gangavaram police said the woman and her husband Jayaram, who eked out their livelihood as daily wage labourers, had developed differences in the last couple of years. She left her home along with her children on Tuesday evening. Police said Eeswaramma could have taken the extreme step at midnight or in the small hours of Wednesday. A case was registered.
