Intelligence wings of the AP and Telangana have stepped up vigil at the common Secretariat here as the two governments slug it out over the cash-for-vote case, as the personnel were present in large numbers on Wednesday.
The AP government on the other hand became alert and guarded in discussing their plans openly and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the Cabinet meeting believed to have asked the Ministers not to divulge the details about political issues discussed at the meeting. “Wait and watch’’ is the common refrain from AP Ministers and officials, when asked about the progress in the phone tapping case and their response to the expected notices to be served on key functionaries of TDP and the CM himself.

‘Guv. a puppet ’
Accusing the Governor of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana E.S.L. Narasimhan of being reduced to a “puppet’’ in the hands of the TRS government, TDP leaders said that his position would become untenable unless he amends his ways.
