Minister invites IGBC to partner with State

Govt. keen on encouraging green entrepreneurs, says Goutham Reddy

Minister for Industries, Commerce and Information Technology Mekapati Goutham Reddy on Friday invited the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) to partner with the State government to encourage eco-friendly constructions in the State.

Speaking at the CII-IGBC Leadership Awards Night at the 17th Green Building Congress-2019, he said the State government was keen on making all the existing buildings in the State ‘green buildings’ and encourage green entrepreneurs and startups. He said that Sri City in the State had implemented many green measures and had achieved ‘platinum rating’ under the IGBC Green Cities Rating system.
