A married woman suffered serious injuries on her throat after her husband attacked her with a knife in the Mulapet area of Nellore on Saturday. She was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in the city.
According to the information, differences crept in between Lathasri and her husband Thirumalasetti Praveen owing to domestic disputes. One Town police registered a case against Praveen basing on a complaint lodged by Lathasri’s relatives alleging that Praveen severely beat her before attacking her with a blade. The couple reportedly had a love marriage and had been living in Lathasri’s house following their rejection by the Praveen’s family members.
