Many IAS officers have been transferred and given new postings in Andhra Pradesh.
Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Punetha, in an order released on Wednesday, said the transfers and postings were being ordered with immediate effect.
Excise Commissioner
Secretary, Tourism and Culture Department, Mukesh Kumar Meena, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Excise and Prohibition and Managing Director, A.P. Beverages Corporation Limited (APBCL), replacing P. Laxminarasimham.
Mr. Meena continues to be in full additional charge to the post of Secretary, Tourism, Culture and Youth Advancement Department, until further orders.
Mr. Laxminarasimham is posted as Secretary (Handloom and Textiles), Industries and Commerce Department, in place of Srinivas Srinaresh, who in turn, is asked to take charge as Secretary (Mines), Industries and Commerce Department, relieving B. Sreedhar from the post.
Mr. Sreedhar will now be Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department.
Mr. Srinaresh will continue to be in full additional charge to the post of Director, Mines and Geology, until further orders.
Srikakulam Collector
M. Rama Rao, who is currently the Director of Social Welfare Department, will assume charge as the Collector and District Magistrate of Srikakulam.
CEO of APTA
He will replace K. Dhanunjaya Reddy, who in turn, will take over the post of the Chief Executive Officer of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority and Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC).
B. Lakshmikantham, Collector of Krishna district, will take charge as the Joint Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati, replacing P. Bhaskara, and the latter has been posted as Director, Social Welfare Department.
Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Krishna district Vijaya K. is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, General Administration (GPM & AR) Department.
Ms. Vijaya’s post would be taken over by Kritika Shukla, the current Managing Director and CEO of Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation.
Director, Tourism, Himanshu Shukla, is posted as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Guntur district.
