Kidnappedpharmacy student freed

In a happy ending, a B. Pharmacy student, who was allegedly kidnapped from Hayathnagar in Hyderabad on Tuesday last, was freed at Addanki in Prakasam district on Tuesday.

Inquiries by the Prakasam police revealed that suspected kidnapper, Ravisekhar, had promised the woman to introduce her to a doctor and find her a decent job in the latter's hospital. The 21-year-old woman on her own left for Hyderabad without taking the help of Addanki police, police here said.

Using the same modus operandi , the conman had allegedly cheated about 70 women by promising them jobs in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. A Docile Criminal (DC) sheet has been opened at his native Kankipadu, near Vijaywada, police added.
