BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana, who arrived here on Wednesday, was accorded a rousing reception by his party workers.

Activists waving party flags went round the town cheering the public, while senior leaders received him with huge garlands.

At Srikalahasti, the senior politician took out an impressive rally.

After offering prayers at the Varasiddhi Vinayaka temple in Kanipakam, Mr. Lakshminarayana left for Tirumala for night stay.

He will have darshan at Sri Venkateswara temple on Wednesday morning. He will end his pilgrimage with ‘Rahu Ketu Puja’ at the Srikalahastheeswara Swamy temple in Srikalahasti town on Thursday.
