Jai Andhra People’s United Front (JAPUF) is conducting a public meeting at Suryakalamandiram on Cinema Road on Friday. Founder president of the organisation B.V. Rama Rao on Thursday said that the objective of the front was the formation of separate Andhra State with nine coastal districts. He said that the Rayalaseema region was being neglected by the rulers and even as there were six Chief Minister from the region so far, no development had been taken place in that area. “This is time for us to get separate from Rayalaseema and make all efforts to develop our own region,” he said.
