Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said he would not keep quiet if the Central government tries to dictate things to the State and asserted that the rapid development achieved by Andhra Pradesh was unpalatable to BJP leaders.

Mr. Naidu stated on Twitter that the BJP was throwing a spanner in the development of AP and people would teach it a lesson for indulging in politics of vengeance.

He alleged that YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy feared that he would be sent to jail if he criticised the Modi government. It was due to the same compulsion that Mr. Reddy compromised the interests of AP instead of confronting the BJP-led NDA Government, he said.

On the other hand, Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan washed his hands off the joint fact-finding committee’s report which stated that ₹75000 crore was due to AP from the Central government and started criticising the State government for no fault, remarked Mr. Naidu.

The CM reiterated that he was trying to bring anti-BJP parties onto a single platform to save the country and its democratic fabric. “Let any attempt be made to intimidate us, our morale will be intact. We will save the country by putting up a collective fight,” he observed.
