‘GVL’s allegations baseless’

October 20, 2018 11:31 pm | Updated 11:31 pm IST - Vijayawada

Terming as baseless the allegations levelled by BJP Rajya Sabha member G.V.L. Narasimha Rao against his TDP counterpart C.M. Ramesh with regard to the Income-Tax raids, A.P. Planning Board vice-chairman C. Kutumba Rao said he would write a letter to the Rajya Sabha Chairman requesting that he call for evidence thereof.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, Mr. Rao said Mr. Narasimha Rao should furnish proof of his charges to the Chairman so that the truth would come out and action could be taken against Mr. Ramesh if he had really resorted to large-scale tax evasion.
