While the TDP MPs are busy exposing the false promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the people of the State by tabling a no-confidence motion in Parliament, those of the YSRCP who resigned recently are in a mood of dejection for having missed the historical occasion to take part in the discussion and voice the people’s concerns.

Addressing the media here, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Friday said the former MPs were now regretting the blunder they had committed in making a political miscalculation. Mr. Modi was also pushed into a state of defence, thanks to the premeditated efforts by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Not only did he succeed in exposing the injustice done to the State but also grabbed the attention of the people of the nation.

The TDP could muster support for its no-confidence motion from several political parties at the national level. More than 10 political parties had openly pledged their support to the cause, and many more were likely to join during the discussion in Parliament, he said.

Earlier, Mr. Srinivasa Rao offered prayers at the temple of Lord Venkateswara along with his Cabinet colleague Narayana and other family members.
