Four motorcycle thieves nabbed in SPSR Nellore district

The police achieved a breakthrough in a series of motorcycle theft cases with the arrest of four suspected habitual offenders near the Jonnawada Arch centre, near Buchireddypalem, in SPSR Nellore district, on Tuesday.

A special team nabbed the four persons moving in a suspicious manner near Narasimhakonda and seized 19 motorcycles worth ₹10 lakh stolen from various places in the district, including Nellore city, Buchireddypalem and Podalakur.

Three other stolen motorcycles remained untraced, said Nellore Rural Deputy Superintendent of Police Harinatha Reddy. The arrested were identified as G. Subba Rao (27), G. Seenaiah(25), P. Subramanyam (25) and D. Subbaiah(25) from Buchireddypalem.
